I am curious to know how other people start their day. Are you in a frantic frenzy to get out the door for work or school? Do you take time to make breakfast? Is your life rushed with little time for yourself or your family? If you are a believer do you read the word every morning?

I used to be frantic getting out the door, but now that I changed my hours, I am able to spend more time in the morning at home. I love it now.

We try very hard to spend time with each child before sending them off to school happy. We also wake up early to drink coffee together and talk about what we were too tired to talk about at night.

As a busy homeschool mom of 10 (9 still at home), I try to be dressed and ready for the day by 8:00 (after I've had my morning coffee and read my Bible). The children are on a schedule (though we are not rigid about it) and we try to be finished eating breakfast and done with chores to start school at 10:30.
